The presidential reception and meeting of the Lagos (Flagship) Chapter of MSGOBA held on November 19, 2023, at Kulture Yard Ikeja, Lagos State. Despite the short notice, about 42 members were in attendance indicating the importance of this August event. The meeting kicked off with an opening prayer followed by the MSG School Anthem then a brief introduction done by the Chapter President in an interactive manner wherein the Worldwide President had warm handshakes with all present.

In his opening speech, the Chapter President, Mr. Richard Ehieze II. welcomed the Worldwide President and intimated him on some milestones the chapter has been able to achieve.

An Interactive session saw the Worldwide President reemphasizing the vision of the OBA by sharing highlights of the roles every committee is saddled with. It was also an opportunity for questions and answers as issues raised were treated on the spot and commitments made. It was at this point the President inaugurated a three-man networking committee tasked with helping members leverage on our sphere of influence. Other members from Abuja and Makurdi are to join the group subsequently.

Presentation of gifts to the Special Guest also took place. The President was appreciated with a token from the chapter.

Photo session with the entire members in attendance was a segment of the event that saw Mr. President interact with members on a one-to-one basis.

Special donations/pledges from some notable members saw the chapter raising about N3m strictly for welfare matters that affect its members.
