Jason was born on 5th October 1977 and is one of three siblings (surviving). He is from Buruku LGA of Benue State.

He attended the famous Kusaki Nursery and Primary School Yandev, Gboko and Mount Saint Gabriel’s Secondary School Makurdi for his secondary education. He proceeded to University of Nigeria, Nsukka where he bagged a B.Sc in Geography and Planning before topping it with a Masters in Business Administration, from the Business School Netherlands (BSN).
