Sebastian Mom hails from Guma LGA of Benue State and attended Sacred Heart primary school, Udei before gaining admission to MSG in 1967 and graduating in 71. His educational pursuit led him, at various times, to Advanced Teachers College Kano, Institute of Education, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and UNN where he rounded up with a Masters in Education and Planning.

He has worked across Benue and Kogi States as teacher, principal and Registrar (then school of Remedial Studies Makurdi). He also had stints in the mainstream civil service of Benue State, serving as Director in 3 ministries at different times retiring as Director, Admin and Finance (DAF) in 2006.

On retirement, Sebastian went into politics and was the chairman of Guma LGA between 2008 and 2010 and afterwards, went into private life.

Sebastian Mom is a personable Ancestor and always keen to mentor younger ones and can be easily reached where MSG matters are concerned. He is married with many children, 3 are Old Boys themselves. He lives in Makurdi and can be reached on 08022075663
