Peter Itodo was born on 20th October 1982 and hails from Ipole- Owukpa, Ogbadibo L.G.A of Benue State.
He attended Happy Home Nursery & Primary School (1988 – 1990) and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Primary School (1991 – 1994).
Peter was at Mount Saint Gabriel’s Secondary School, Makurdi from year 1994 to 2000 – the millennium set.
He proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
He started his medical career as a House Officer in FMC, Makurdi (2008 -2009), then served his mandatory service year as a Medical Officer (NYSC) at Comprehensive Health Centre Awa, Orumba North LGA, Anambra State (2010 – 2011). He returned to serve the people of Benue as a Medical Officer in FMC Makurdi in 2011 – 2012 when he entered the residency training programme.
He is a Fellow, West African College of Surgeons and was appointed Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist, FMC Makurdi in 2022.
Peter is a good listener, Problem solver and team player. Aside doctoring, he is an avid reader, writer and Photographer.
His good character has earned him honors in the schools and associations he has been part of. These include as:
He is a passionate and dedicated member of MSGOBA and has handled several responsibilities at both set and National levels including as Set 2000 President for three tenures (2014 – 2020) and currently, as a member of the MSGOBA Health Insurance Scheme Committee.
