Tarfa M.C. Makyur was born on the 25th of April, 1972 to Late Engr and Mrs Paulinus Tyoshar Makyur.

He had his Primary Education at St Peter Claver’s Primary School, Kafanchan in Kaduna State. He proceeded to the prestigious Mt. St. Gabriels Secondary School, Makurdi, Benue State for Secondary Education and then on to the University of Jos, where he studied Accountancy. He also attended La Trobe University, Melbourne Australia, for advanced studies.

He has since acquired numerous other educational, professional and leadership qualifications. Tarfa is a Member, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and currently works with the Nigeria Securities & Exchange Commission.  

He was Assistant Headboy Set’88 – Mt. St. Gabriels Secondary School, Makurdi.

And the Pioneer Assistant Master General of The Via Christi Society.

Tarfa is a committed member of MSGOBA Set’88 and is passionate about philanthropy, charity work, community services and mentoring young people.
