Emmanuel Adukwu was born on 6th Feb. 1975 as ‘1st son and 2nd child of Gregory and Victoria Adukwu’ in the cold city of Jos.
He had his early childhood in Kano and Kaduna/Zaria due to his father's job as a salesman which required lots of travel. He eventually ended up at Nativity Private School in 1984 in primary 4 and finished In 1985 before proceeding to MSG in 1986 where he started out in JSS 1E and resided in St. Kizito House.
He was an avid footballer in his junior days and grew into public speaking, representing the school at several debates and was nearly always the team lead, winning many competitions and laurels. He served as labour prefect when it was his time and was a staunch member of the revered dance crew put together by the famous Joseph ‘Spitz’ Igomu.
Emmanuel proceeded to the University of Jos in 1992 where he studied Accounting, graduating in 1997 with a bachelors degree. He served at Royal Tropicana hotel Kano for his NYSC in 1998 - 1999 after a stint at Orbit computers where he cut his teeth in accounting with use of a computer.
Emmanuel proceeded to the Nigerian college of Accountancy in 1999 where he studied and qualified as a member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN). He obtained fellowship of this body in 2015.
He was back at the University of Jos in 2008 to begin a masters in Busness administration, completing same in 2010 and is currently pursuing a PHD in Management from the same university.
Emmanuel began his career at Standard Trust Bank in 2001. He spanned Tellering, Internal control and Marketing. In 2005, he moved to Oceanic Bank as Head Public Sector and later as Branch Manager. He left Oceanic Bank for Fidelity in 2009 where he held various positions before finally leaving for Polaris Bank in July of 2023 where he is currently the DGM and Head of Corporate Banking for Abuja and Northern Nigeria.

Emmanuel Adukwu is a dedicated Catholic and devoted son of ‘Our Mother Mary’, a 3rd degree Knight of the Order of St. Mulumba Nigeria and his hobbies include playing golf, football and tennis while his motto remains: "The Impossible is often the untried".
He is married to Bridget and are blessed with 4 lovely children.
