Pharm Njoalu Terungwa was born into the family of Mr & Mrs Fidelis Njoalu Utukwa Mbagbe of Mbaiase, Ngyohov District of Gwer Local Government Area of Benue State, on the 10th of September, 1978 at Utonkon, in present Ado Local Government Area of Benue State.

He had his nursery and primary education at the Nativity Private School, Makurdi, and secondary education at the Mount Saint Gabriel’s Secondary School, Makurdi, Benue State where he was the house captain of St. MUKASA. He did his post-secondary education at the University of Jos, Jos, Plateau State, where he obtained a B. Pharm degree. He also obtained an MBA from the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi (now JOSTUM).

Terungwa has over 17 years of working experience, having started out as a medical representative of SWIPHA in Lagos. Due to his passion to serve his people, he relocated home and had a brief stint at the Hospitals Management Board, stationed at General Hospital, Gboko. From GH Gboko, he moved to the Federal Medical Centre, Makurdi, where he has risen through the ranks to become an Assistant Director of Pharmaceutical Services today.

Pharm Njoalu Terungwa has, and still holds several positions of responsibility in several organisations. He has served his class of 1995 as President for 6 years and is presently in running a second stint as Secretary General of MSGOBA Worldwide.

He is currently the Laity Council President of St. Francis Quasi Parish, Nyiekaa and the State Secretary of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, Benue State Branch.

Pharm Njoalu Terungwa has undertaken several certificate courses with the University of Washington in Leadership and Health Management, Project management amongst others.

He is happily married to Mrs Njoalu Mumbur Olivia, and they are blessed with a daughter.
