SPOTLIGHT - GABRIEL IORWUESE NYAM
Gabriel was born on 23rd August 1983 to the family of Thomas Tavershima and Monica Afa (Nee Beetseh) Nyam of Gboko LGA of Benue State.
The first of five siblings attended Kusaki Primary School, Yandev, Gboko from 1988 to 1994 and with an MSG old boy as a father (class of ’73), it was only natural that Gabriel would head to Mount Saint Gabriel’s Secondary School, Makurdi from 1994 to 2000 for his SSCE. He then proceeded to Benue State University, Makurdi from 2002 to 2006 and graduated with a B.Sc. in General Psychology.
Gabriel Nyam has been very active in MSGOBA activities both at set and national levels. He is currently serving a second term as MSGOBA Worldwide Assistant Publicity Secretary and Interim Secretary MSGOBA Abuja Chapter. He is also a Member of MSGOBA Website Committee.
He has served as Vice President of MSGOBA Set 2000 and Assistant Secretary of the MSGOBA Reunion Committee.
Gabriel was an advance team member to visit Late Rev. Father Angus George Fraser and later, with Mr. Doocivir Yawe of class of ‘91, officially delivered Father’s invitation letter at Garkawa, Plateau State, towards the MSGOBA Reunion Ceremony. He also served as part of the Brochure and event planning sub-committees of the event.

He is experienced as an Administrative Project Administrator, a Businessman, Printer, Community Liaison Officer and Marketer.
He has produced and delivered excellent jobs in printing, including the brochure for the 2023 Harvest and Family Thanksgiving of St. Gabriel Chaplaincy, Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria (CSN) where MSGOBA President, Hon. Arc. Asema Achado was Chairman of the Harvest.
He is open to opportunities to grow his printing business and DREAM CAREER IN PROGRAMS, in the development sector. He is single and planning his marriage to hold on 27th April 2024.
