Mr Abraham Terfa Ayabam was born on the 24th of April 1976 in Gboko to the family of late Mr Christopher Wayo Ayabam (KSM) and late Mrs Cecilia Adi Ayabam (LSM). Both seasoned educationists.

He attended

• Robert F Kennedy Nursery and Primary school Gboko from 1979 to 1982.
• Nativity Private School Makurdi from 1982 to 1985
• Robert F Kennedy Nursery & Primary school Gboko from 1985 to 1987. 
• Mt St Gabriel's secondary school from 1988 to 1994.
• FUT Yola from 1996 to 2002 - where he obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Surveying.
• Holds an MBA from Nasarawa State University Keffi (NSUK), this he obtained in 2016.
• In 2018, after training at Red Dish Culinery school Abuja, rated the best culinary school in Nigeria, Abraham obtained a Diploma in Continental and African dishes from the great culinary institute.
• He is currently studying MSc IT Project Management at Teesside University Middlesbrough, United Kingdom.

March 2003 to March 2004 saw Abraham serve his motherland under the mandatory National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) in Ondo Town, Ondo state, South West Nigeria. He taught students of all the arms of the senior secondary school mathematics and Physics throughout his service year. In 2006, he lectured at Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa, Nasarawa State on part time basis lecturing Basic Surveying to all the year 1 students of environmental sciences. This he did while working with Legacy Pension Administrators.

At MSG he was known for playing sports. He captained both Tennis (Lawn) and Basketball teams. He was also good with football and badminton, table tennis was not left out. He also completed the numbers in volleyball when the need arose.

He has had a stint at Pension Administration having worked with Legacy Pension Managers for about 1 year and some few months before joining First Bank of Nigeria Limited as an experienced hire. His banking career with First Bank of Nigeria Limited spans well over 14 years after joining them in 2007 and resigning in Feb 2022 to further his studies.

Waka or Waks Boogie as he is popularly known is a seasoned banker, an administrator,  a Scrum Master, a Chef and a philanthropist

He was the National President of MSGOBA set'93 from 2016 to 2021. During his tenure, he led the set to supply computers to the school to commemorate the sets 25th anniversary post MSG, the project was worth N7,000,000 (Seven million naira only).

He was National President, MSGOBA Worldwide from 2019 to 2021. The OBA saw a great change, re focus and re organisation under the Ayabam led administration as a lot was achieved, thanks to all old boys. So many firsts were recorded putting the OBA out to the world and as always, envy of many. This leadership period also marked reconciliations, peace and unity amongst old boys and stake holders, inclusive of the proprietor and Bishop of Makudi Diocese, His Lordship CMF Anagbe, Via Christi Societty, MSG Administration and the PTA. The dichotomy between older and younger sets was also abolished making it one big dynamic and dependable OBA.

Waks Boogie is married to one wife and together they are blessed with 3 children of which the first are twins (boy and girl) with the 3rd being a girl.

His hobbies include playing and watching sports (Basketball, football, Tennis, and swimming) dancing, networking, cooking, reading, travelling and motivating people positively.
